Happy Birthday Little Sis!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful sister, Amanda!

It's her birthday today so I thought I'd share the card I made for her with you all. To make the card I layered Old Olive, Rose Red, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla cardstock. Then I used the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set for the beautiful flowers & the Afterthoughts (Level 1 Hostess) stamp set for the greeting. I pierced the top edge of the card to add detail then sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the centre of the flowers to make them sparkle! For such a quick and easy card it really is very pretty.

I hope you and Amanda like it!

Fifth Avenue Floral

Fifth Avenue Floral
Finally my Fifth Ave Floral Stamp Set has got some use...and I really love it.
The cards look quite modern and simple and they are easy to make.
I have used Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Old Olive & Basic Black cardstock, ink & ribbon.
To create the floral background you stamp the 3 flower images randomly, in different colours, on a piece of Whisper White cardstock then just cut it into different shapes and sizes. To create the polka dots on the 1st card I used the Big Shot and the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. Add a bit of glitter and ribbon and they're done!
